Minnesota Justice Foundation

“It’s not about his vision, but your vision and working with you to get what you need”

As Development Director, Betsy Hodges was responsible for creating a new brand identify for the Minnesota Justice Foundation.” The existing logo wasn’t working. Another designer recommended Bryan and I found him to be very responsive to our needs. He was the perfect professional,” she said.

When the new logo was introduced at an awards dinner, the audience’s reaction confirmed her belief that Bryan created an appropriate brand identity. “People were so impressed. The design is simple, elegant and powerful. Traditional but not staid.
He really understood the audience and the framework they would be working in.” Hodges explained.

Colwell Industries

“You have to have someone you can count on.”

Colwell Industries designs, manufactures and distributes tools that accurately present color choices for consumers and business. Rita Penrod, Director of Design & Marketing relies on bbb design to create communications tools that works across different business-to-business and consumer audiences.

“Bryan’s designs are solid yet sensitive. There are times when I have him jump through hoops with let’s try this or that. He provides a starting point for us to collaborate on together,” she said.

There’s no question creativity is important but in a close working relationship, attention to detail adds a sense of comfort to client’s hectic schedule. “When I leave to travel for business or vacation, I send the work straight to Bryan. I trust him completely,” she explained.

Trust. Honest. Dependable. Creative. “He’s like gold,” she said. Isn’t this the kind of rapport everyone wants?

TopLine Federal Credit Union

“I would tell them that he is talented and a good listener.”

In 2002, Ronda Bandy managed the process of creating a new brand image for Topline Federal Credit Union. “We changed our name and we were really conscious of sending a consistent message,” she explained.

Opening a new branch in the downtown skyway, bbb design created a lobby full of communications elements to draw prospective customers in. “He was receptive to what we needed. Bryan works hard to understand the scope of the project,” she said.

Across a range of materials including brochures, posters, direct mail and promotional pieces Bryan created a style that is still followed today. “ The design he presented for our signage was far and away the best choice,” she said.
